Sad Ones, Glad Ones and a Mad One

April 7, 2013

Another mixed bag from my recent postings on Linkedin, three haiku plus a triolet.  No explanations this time.  If a piece works for you, that’s all that matters.

Sad Ones…

IN SHOCK

Ticking clock at night,

Wondering where the world went,

Missing you badly.

THE JUG

One drip at a time

Filling the measuring jug,

Spout running with tears…

Glad Ones…

SONG THRUSH

Come the snow again,

Head of the family now,

A Song Thrush my friend…

JANKERS

Punishment duties to weary the wit:

For lingering lips in the golden bay

Jankers in camp was a small price to pay.

Punishment duties to weary the wit,

Jankers in camp was a small price to pay:

Fuhrer frustrated by spud-peeling grit!

Punishment duties to weary the wit

For lingering lips in the golden bay…

…and a Mad One…

SYNAPSE ELECTRIC

Cloud of cyberspace,

Synaptic junctions beyond

Creating poetry…
