Lower Bridge Street, Chester, CH1 1RS

  1. It’s great news and I know it will be a wonderful evening! All very best, Morelle

    • Thanks, Morelle. My book is available now, nicely in time for the Wirral Festival of Firsts. Maureen and I will be reading at the Festival’s Poetry Fair in Hoylake tomorrow, Sunday 17th July. I’ll be doing poems from ‘Twin Dakotas’ of course and will hopefully sell a few pre-launch copies. Mike’s book, ‘Where Silence Deepens’ will be on sale too.

Yesterday, under Maureen’s expert direction, Mike and I did a first rehearsal for our joint-launch on 11th August. All very exciting. Slightly surreal. It’s been a long time coming for both of us, and we’re going to enjoy it to the full!

      My very best,

  2. Wonderful news Paul and congratulations, it’s been a long time coming. Best wishes to you – it will be a night to remember, with many new fans of your work to be sure!

    • Thanks, Mary. Gosh, a night to remember it will be indeed – especially if any of the thirteen resident ghosts put in an appearance! Ye Olde King’s Head (named after Charles the First) is reputedly one of Britain’s most haunted inns. Should be fun anyway. And if a ghost or two would like a signed copy of my book – great!

      My very best always,

  3. Congratulations, Paul! Much success to you!
